Our History

South Asian Journal of Socio-Political Studies (SAJOSPS)is a refereed/peer reviewed bi-annual international research journal started publication in 2000.This Journal has been listed by the UGC in the category of Approved Journals vide SL No.34425 Dated 11.01.2017.But it is not in the existing list of Care List Category.

 Aims And Scope
01. Our mission is to examine diverse aspects of the rapid changes taking place in the aforesaid areas of our Polity and society. It also aims to promote scholarship that perceives multidimensional problems of the society and mankind in totality to present them with sagacity, truth and vision.
02. The Journal contains research papers, articles and scholarly features covering a wide spectrum and encompassing a broad canvas of socio-political-technological-managerial and hospitality issues. It will lend a new perspective and dimension, which will help to illumine hitherto unexplored areas of the subjects and make it a profound study. Moreover, it will provide a forum for the interdisciplinary study of contemporary issues which will help to encourage a closer interaction between the various branches of knowledge. It will also articulate rigorous scientific discussion on the diverse concerns of research in the above mentioned areas.
03. Given the rapidly changing socio, political, economic climate of South Asia, the major aim of the Journal is to enhance an understanding of South Asia among the countries of the region and beyond. It will also serve as a forum to share fresh thinking and to debate matters of national and regional concern to the countries of South Asia from their perspective. The Journal has no particularistic affiliation or orientation and is meant exclusively to serve entire mankind with special reference to the issues of South Asia.
04. The Journal provides an outlet for innovative research, which advances understanding of the core areas of study in all its varied aspects. It publishes articles and research papers that deal with the theory and practice of the aforesaid thrust areas, especially those which demonstrate how theories can be put into practice.
05. The goal of SAJOSPS is to disseminate the latest thinking about social sciences, management, biotechnology, information technology and tourism to the academics and practitioners all over the globe.
06. This global publication provides a forum for disseminating and enhancing theoretical, empirical and pragmatic research across the core areas of the publications. It emphasises the publication of research work that engages with issues of major public interest and concern across the globe and highlights the implications of that work for policy and professional excellence.
07. Contributions are welcome in any appropriate form, including critical research papers, articles, review of significant topics, qualitative and quantitative empirical studies, including case studies and large scale statistical analysis. Composite reviews of sets of books and other publications are also welcome.
08. Whilst the submission of individual papers is encouraged, proposals for special issues on relevant think that incorporate contribution from a variety on the core areas will also be carefully considered.

Articles appearing in this journal are indexed and abstracted by GIPL and AIILSG.

 Guidelines to the Contributors: Sajosps welcomes original research papers / scholarly articles on Social Sciences, Management, Biotechnology, Information Technology and Tourism. Contributors must furnish us a declaration stating that “the research paper / article has not been published so far, will not send elsewhere for publication and the same is an original work of the contributor(s). Authors should also certify that proper citation to the previously reported work have been given and no data / table / figures have been quoted verbatim from other publications without giving due acknowledgement and without the permission of the authors, wherever warranted”. The paper will be put up before the panel of referees/reviewers only after receipt of the declaration duly signed by the author(s).

 Mode of Submission: Contributions should be sent as hard copy accompanied by a CD version. Authors are requested to prepare their soft copy versions in word format. PDF versions are not accepted. While it is possible for us to receive material by e-mail, to avoid possible distortions and other problems, we prefer to receive it by mail. Graphs, Charts and Maps, must be sent as clear hard copy. Each paper must have a title page which will carry the full title of the paper, the name and address of the author, institutional affiliation and brief biographical sketch of the author(s). An abstract of the article in about 150 words should be submitted along with the manuscript. The author should not be identified anywhere else in the paper except in the title page. Manuscripts will be referred to experts and only those receiving positive recommendation will be accepted for publication. Contributors are requested to furnish their Residential, Office and Cell numbers. Critical comments and responses to research papers / articles published in SAJOSPS are welcome. They should not be longer than 2 pages in length.

 Book Reviews will be accepted only when accompanied by copy of the book reviewed.

 The Responsibility for Statement of facts, quotations given and opinions expressed in the articles and reviews published in this Journal is borne entirely by the respective author(s). The editor, editorial board, advisory board or the SAJOSPS is in no way responsible for them.

 The Journal or any part thereof should not be reproduced without the written permission of the publisher. Disputes, if any, are subject to Kollam (India) jurisdiction.
